The Property Manager, (Lettings and Properties Manager), job role itself, where yo u will be responsible for managing the lettings process and making sure the property portfolio is well maintained and kept to a high-quality standard. You will ensure ourproperty stock is well represented and advertised. Provide excellent customer service to potential tenants whilst managing expectations and ensuring background checks and regulations are followed before finalising tenancy agreements.Throughout the process,excellent customer service and a focus on maintaining high-quality standards within and around the properties is key.

Although you will be based at HQ in WSM the role requires a full driving license as you will need to drive to the properties which are located across Somerset.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm (with occasional on call response evenings and weekends).

**You will have**

To be successful as the Property Manager, (Lettings and Properties Manager), you will be aa highly organised and motivated Lettings & Properties Manager with at least 5 years’ experience in Commercial & Residential Lettings and property management to jointhe team. You will support the Property & Land Manager to develop the strategic plan for the property portfolio and implement processes and procedures needed to continue a successful lettings business and maintain high standards within our property portfolio.

Plus a healthy mix of the following:

- This role is both admin and people-focused, so great communication and interpersonal skills is an essential requirement for this role,
- As well as being highly organised, with good time keeping and attention to detail is key.
- Experience within the property industry in a customer-facing role is essential.
- You will be a natural communicator and problem solver with a positive and proactive can-do attitude.
- Ability to respond confidently to questions, understand requirements and deal with customers, contractors and colleagues.
- Contractor management essential
- Project management/coordination experience is preferred
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously managing your own workload as well as supporting the team as required
- Computer literate with Excel and Word knowledge and must be able to pick up management of the online booking system for the holiday cottages.
- Must have a Full Driving Licence and transport
