**About Us**:
Birtsmorton Court is a beautiful, privately owned country house located between Tewkesbury, Ledbury, and Malvern. With approximately 100 weddings each year and seven on-site holiday rentals, we offer a fast-paced and exciting environment. We are currently looking for a dedicated Wedding Coordinator to join our team.
**Role Overview**:
As a Wedding Coordinator at Birtsmorton Court, you will play a key role in ensuring that each couple's wedding dreams come true, guiding them from their first enquiry to the big day. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with couples in a rewarding, varied role. While experience in weddings or events is preferred, we welcome applicants with a strong background in customer service at a supervisory level.
**Salary and Benefits**:
- Starting salary: £24,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): £30,000. Full training provided to help you meet your targets and excel in the role
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responding to enquiries and scheduling venue viewings
- Meeting couples on their first visit and converting interest into bookings
- Communicating with couples throughout the planning process, arranging supplier visits and hosting meetings
- Ensuring a seamless wedding day experience, co-ordinating from the day before to the morning after
- Managing venue documentation, including databases, invoices, and planning documents
- Supporting the management of holiday rental properties, including guest check-ins and addressing concerns
- Contributing to the company’s social media presence
- Managing stock control for the bar, tea, coffee and other venue supplies
- Have experience in wedding co-ordination, event management, or customer service
- Be enthusiastic, with a strong passion for weddings and providing exceptional service
- Have excellent organizational and administrative skills, with keen attention to detail
- Be emotionally intelligent and able to build strong relationships with both colleagues and clients
- Be motivated by targets and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Be a proactive team player, with a “can-do” attitude and a willingness to help where needed
**Additional Information**:
- This is a full-time, rota-based role, with most Saturdays required and up to two Sundays a month
- The working hours are 9am-5:30pm during office days and 9am-6:30pm on wedding days (no evening shifts)
- Due to the rural location, your own transport is essential
- You will have two days off in a row each week, with your rota provided at least six weeks in advance
