IT Technician

We are working with a long standing business who are seeking an IT Technician to join their growing team and support the IT Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their IT support career and move into more handson 1st / 2nd line support.
What will you be doing as an IT Technician?
- Assist with installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance of computer hardware and software
- Offer operations and systems support
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and by telephone
- Undertake IT projects as necessary
- Update and maintain the group assets list
What experience do you need?
- At least 2 years' experience in an IT support role
- Good understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
- Strong Microsoft experience, including managing Windows Domains, Active Directory and Office 365
- Knowledge of IP networks and related WAN/LAN technologies including but not limited to TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, Firewalls
- Experience supporting Windows server
- Good logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Able to prioritise issues and manage time in the most efficient manner to provide the businesses with the best response
