**Description**
B&CE have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as an Operational Training Specialist.

This is a 9 month fixed term contract role.

Main Purpose:

- Work with Customer Service Leadership team to create and deliver area training strategy to include cross skilling and upskilling of teams.
- Support future Target Operating Models and new ways of working within Customer Services
- Responsible for ensuring training is created and delivered for all new products, process and regulatory changes
- Oversee the creation, preparation, co-ordination and the delivery of all Customer Service training to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills required to carry out their roles effectively.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation who also have training responsibilities to ensure a joined up and impactful learning service is offered to our people.
- Coach and mentor Customer Service Trainers and experienced Customer Service Executives in preparing and delivering workplace training.

Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Training Qualification e.g. CIPD level 3 or equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant experience working as a workplace learning & development professional.
- Extensive experience of using the full training cycle within a workplace setting, ideally within the Pensions or Financial Services sector
- Experience of planning and co-ordinating multiple training sessions
- Experience of developing and delivering learning interventions to operations or customer service staff within the Pensions or Financial Sector
- Experience of working closely with stakeholders to identify and define training needs
- Confident deliverer of training
- Financial services knowledge (ideally in pensions and auto enrolment)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent role-model with the confidence to provide feedback that challenges and supports
- Excellence in Customer Services
- Organisational and planning skills
- Strong ability to work with and across other business units
- Ability to meet deadlines within tight timelines
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook
- PC Literate

Desirable
- Relevant qualification (CF1 or FA2) to be passed in probation if not already obtained
- Pensions qualification (particularly PMI Certificate in Auto Enrolment)
- Knowledge of pension legislation
