Quality Assurance Technologist

**About the role**
We are looking for a QA Technologist to join our Technical team. As a QA Technologist, you will be responsible for upholding and reporting on the day-to-day legalities of our business with regards to due diligence and food safety.
**What you will do**:
**Audits**
- Complete internal GMP audits monthly and when required in all areas to a set timeframe.
- Complete glass & hard plastic monthly audits and report to manager issues and any required additions to the register.
- Assist and audit inventory lists of knives and tool boxes.
- Ensure all site paperwork is current by completion of process audit.
- Complete the site calibration of temperature probes and scales and other equipment when necessary.
- Assist with monthly Traceability Audits.
- Assist with any site product recalls or withdrawals.
**Due Diligence**
- Complete inspections and area release after cleaning, glass breakage, allergen spillage or maintenance work.
- Assist the Technical Team in customer complaints or supplier queries.
- Ensure all returned paperwork is completed correctly and raise any issues with the relevant manager.
- Assist in the closure of site Non Conformances with operations teams.
**Sampling**
- Collect samples / swabs in line with micro, chemical and nutritional schedules, and input information onto laboratory website. Organise collections of all samples.
- Work closely with Procurement and Innovations team and collate samples to develop Quality Attribute Sheets (QAS).
**What you will need**:
- Current experience within the Food Industry and quality assurance experience.
- Good team player
- IT Competent in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Teams and web based portals.
- Ability to transfer data accurately
- Strong communication and influencing skills for key stakeholders and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects whilst delivering results against tight deadlines
- Ability to work without supervision and on own initiative, self-motivated/driven
