**FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM LEADER**
As a Front of House Team Leader, you will report to your General Manager and be responsible for the team when running shift. This will be your first step in leading others, so through your development, you will support your General Manager to run successful business. You will run a well organised shift, ensuring the business is safe, amazing sushi rolls are served and all customers have the best possible experience. You will lead by example in a busy environment, inspiring your team through your energy and passion.
Your working hours will depend on the needs of the business
- flexibility is essential, as you will be required to work daytime, evenings, and weekends.
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:
**INSPIRE YOUR PEOPLE**
- Lead and motivate both FOH and BOH teams on your shift to ensure that staff is engaged and perform without issues.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the kitchen and drivers to ensure the orders are processed without any delays.
- Attend any team meetings and training sessions when required, ensuring your own training is complete.
- Act as a “buddy” supporting any new members of your team helping them with their induction and training.
- Provide constructive feedback to the team when required.
- Support your General Manager in organising regular management and team meetings to support communication.
**DELIVER HIGH STANDARDS**
- Complete management opening and closing checks (including kitchen), ensuring your shift is set for success.
- Get your team to complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
- Ensure all food is prepared to standards and is re-made when not.
- Ensure all Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are followed on shift.
- Delegate tasks making sure everyone knows what needs to be done.
- Check for out of date food and make sure all equipment is in good order.
- Monitor team’s personal hygiene and make sure everyone (both FOH and BOH) wears correct uniform.
**GROW LOYAL CUSTOMER’S BASE**
- Lead shift ensuring the team delivers service standards.
- Monitor any customer feedbacks.
- Resolve customer complaints, deal with any queries or customers questions without any delays.
- Discuss any delivery issues with your drivers and share feedback with your General Manager and Drivers Supervisor (Rida).
**BUILD SALES AND DRIVE PROFIT**
- Review your daily rota, and sales forecast, making sure you are set for a successful shift.
- Complete end of day cash up and handovers to other managers.
- Ensure all deliveries, daily wastage and stock transfers are recorded accurately.
- Ensure all daily orders are placed without any delays.
- Make sure all hours are approved daily and all driver’s delivery charges recorded in the system.
- Work with your team on shift to maximise sales opportunities; focus on upselling for take away customers, speeding delivery time and minimising risks of refunds.
- Contribute to success of the business by carrying out any reasonable request from your line Manager as well as Area/ Operations Manager.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
