This is an exciting opportunity for a Campus Support Team Leader to join the Campus Support Team within Facilities Management. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about leadership, service delivery, and creating a supportive, well-organised campus environment. As Campus Support Team Leader, you will be at the heart of ensuring the campus operates efficiently and is a welcoming, functional space for students, staff and visitors alike.

- Direct and carry out regular high-profile scheduled patrols of the campus and residential halls with your teams to provide reassurance to the University community.
- Monitor the response and also respond to critical alarms e.g. fire, intruder, personal, maintenance to effectively manage risk and ensure effective monitoring and use the installed University CCTV system.

Leadership with Purpose: You’ll lead a dedicated team focused on maintaining a safe, efficient, and responsive campus environment. Your leadership will directly impact the day-to-day experience of everyone on campus.

Operational Influence: This isn’t just a supervisory role—it’s a chance to improve systems, streamline operations, and contribute to wider campus initiatives.

Team Development: You'll play a key role in training, mentoring, and motivating your team, helping them grow and succeed while also fostering a positive, solutions-focused culture.

**Campus Support Holiday Calculation**

As shift workers, Campus Support staff have their holidays calculated differently. Since all shifts are **11 hours long (plus a 1-hour unpaid break)** and follow a **4-on, 4-off pattern**, the calculation ensures equivalent holiday entitlement in proportion to average shifts worked.

The shift pattern repeats over **8 weeks**, during which staff work **28 shifts**. This averages to **3.5 shifts per week** (**28 shifts ÷ 8 weeks**). The calculation below applies this ratio to standard holiday entitlement.

**Campus Support Holiday Entitlement (Based on Shift Pattern)**

**Length of Service**

**Calculation**

**Total Shift Days (Rounded)**
