**Software Engineer**
**Farnborough, Hampshire / Hybrid / Remote**

Software Engineer required by a thriving cutting-edge technology company providing innovative secure-by-design on-premise and Cloud solutions into the Defence & Security Sector. The Software Engineer will have strong commercial experience in C#, Java ora similar Objected oriented programming language, with a keen desire to gain exposure to a vast array of technologies including Kubernetes / K8S, Kafka, ElasticSearch, AI and Machine Learning. This would suit an aspiring Polyglot Developer. The Software Engineerwill be joining my client on fast moving, innovative and influential work that is underway in the Defence and Security Sector.

**What you will need**
- Designing / writing secure, simple, testable, maintainable code
- Agile methodologies/practices including Test Driven Development
- Java / Spring or C#.NET Core
- Git
- Experience in microservices architecture, including an understanding of containers and serverless implementation. This will include Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, REST
- NodeJS / TypeScript / React / Redux / Jest
- Container technologies using Kubernetes
- Linux / Windows
- Use of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
- Security Clearance to SC Level - current, past, or eligible for clearance
- Nice to have / Desirable_
- Appreciation of the constraints and requirements imposed on development within secure, safety critical environments
- Scripting
- GitLab

- No-SQL stores e.g. ElasticSearch, MongoDB
