**Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant (TA) Needed** **Blackwood** **November start** Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a Blackwood primary school for a Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant (TA) to work at the school, starting after October half term. The role will be for five days a week, initially until Christmas but will beextended dependant on performance. Experience isn't essential but would be desirable and any relevant transferrable skills will be taken into consideration. You must be a fluent Welsh speaker to apply **The Responsibilities of an LSA Include** - Providing support for pupils either in the classroom or on a 1:1 basis - Providing both praise and reinforcements - Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils - Use behaviour management strategies, in line with the school's policy and procedures, to contribute to a purposeful learning environment and encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with each other. **The essentials** - Fluent in Welsh (Essential) - Graduate Degree (Desirable) - An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable) - Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (Essential) - Two recent classroom based references - A good standard of Literacy, Numeracy and Communication skills **What to expect from Academics** - Salary of between £350 and £425 per week (depending on experience) - Full compliance with Agency Worker Regulation (AWR) - Online, hassle free time sheets - Friendly and honest - Awarded the Recruitment and Employment Confederation "Gold Standard"
