We have an exciting opportunity to join our National Distribution Centre (NDC) as a Warehouse Shift Supervisor.

As a Warehouse Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the successful running of the warehouse operation alongside the Warehouse Shift Manager, including motivating and leading the teams to support best possible service levels.

**The Role**

You will be joining an established team of Warehouse Shift Supervisors who ensure that the warehouse teams operate in a safe, efficient, and effective manner to support the achievement of relevant warehouse costs and KPI targets. Warehouse Shift Supervisors will work alongside the Warehouse Shift Manager to support the operations.

In an ideal world it would be great for you to have knowledge of our products and services, but this isn’t essential. What is important is that you have experience working in a warehouse, logistics or a similar environment in an operational or supervisory role. Full training in this role will be provided.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensuring the successful running of the Warehouse Operatives alongside the Warehouse Shift Manager.
- Ensuring that the teams operate in a safe, efficient, and effective manner to support the achievement of relevant warehouse costs and KPI targets.
- Adhering to Health & Safety Protocols and Requirements.
- Motivating and leading the teams to support best service levels.
- Assist the Warehouse Shift Manager with HR cases and escalations.
- Ensuring all customer requirements are met and escalation of any issues put service levels at risk.
- In the absence of the Warehouse Shift Manager, stepping up to cover the operations.
- Ad-hoc duties when required.
- Field out of hour calls Monday to Thursday for emergency orders on a rotational basis.
- Able to cover other Supervisors in time of absence and rotationally work over multiple sites when needed at the direction of the Warehouse Operations Manager.
- Open and close the site.
