**About The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a facility operations scientist to work within our ULTRA facility. This is a national facility specialising in the provision of world class ultrafast vibrational spectroscopic techniques for multidisciplinary UK and internationalscience research.

Working in the ULTRA team your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the delivery of scientific experiments of the facilities national, international and industry users.
- Preparing equipment and providing support to CLF led instrumentation and techniques development.
- Taking part in and seeking opportunities to lead or collaborate in scientific or instrument research and development associated with the facility.

**About You**

With a professional and practical approach and an analytical, logical and quick-learning mind, you will also be able to communicate effectively with the operational team and facility users.

Excellent organisational and planning skills also are required for this role.
