**Warehouse Operative**

**Overview**
Do you enjoy a hands-on role and the idea of working with great people in a busy role where you get to learn new skills? At Debach Enterprise ltd, we work in the transport and logistics sector to provide first class service to our customers in all their warehousing and transport needs.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will report to the Site Manager and work as part of a busy team of warehouse operatives to achieve excellent quality and efficiency to meet agreed service levels.

Your role as Warehouse Operative will be varied and you will benefit from learning new skills within the logistics industry which will help you to develop into a competent operative.

To achieve in this role, experience in a similar field is preferred along with a forklift licence. A hardworking and ambitious attitude with a strive for delivering a high-quality service is what we are looking for and will help you achieve in this role.

Main

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow Health & Safety Policy & Company Procedures at all times, awareness of the reporting relevant concerns to your line manager or Health and Safety Officer.
- Physical & administrative receipt of goods inwards
- Familiar with IT, RDT’s are used by Warehouse Management System
- Locating of goods into warehouse
- Using counterbalance, pump truck or manual handling techniques
- Picking product by either pallet or carton via forklift or manually
- Checking picked orders against instructions
- Labeling of product for dispatch
- Replenishment of picking locations
- Assistance with cycle counting & stock checks
- Loading of goods onto delivery vehicles on pallets via forklift or as cartons manually
- Assistance with smooth running of warehouse areas
- Ensure all warehouses & yard areas are kept clean & tidy.
- Flexibility to move between existing third-party contracts to cover peak times
- Working in line with Company values
