Assistant Management Accountant - Poole (hybrid) - 3 month FTC (View to go perm) - £32,000 ARM are delighted to be hiring for an Assistant Management Accountant to join one of our clients based in Poole on a permanent basis. To be responsible for the control and maintenance of the property fixed asset registers and other fixed assets record keeping. **Responsibilities**: - Create and maintain the property and other fixed asset ledgers, using the Asset 4000 (A4K) fixed assets module, for all group companies - Process component replacements within A4K (including journal preparation) - Create monthly depreciation entries for review and processing - Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for housing and other fixed assets - Monitoring the depreciation charge against budget and aid in the preparation of forecasts - Support the Development Fixed Asset Accountant with the preparation of housing property fixed asset notes for each company's statutory accounts **Requirements**: - Educated to GCSE and A-Level Standard (or equivalent), including GCSE passes in English and Maths. - Studying, or desire to study, towards a recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) is desirable. - Relevant experience includes working as part of a financial reporting team, management accounting, budgeting, working with financial systems and working as part of a larger team to achieve common goals. - Experience and understanding of the basic concepts of fixed asset accounting would be an advantage. - Ability to handle and process large volumes of data efficiently and accurately. - Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely.
