**PA for 16 year old teenage boy with cerebral palsy, LS8**:
We are looking for a pal for our 16 year old son with cerebral palsy.
- He is non-verbal, wheelchair dependent, fed through a feeding tube, dependent for all cares and has well controlled seizures.
- He has a good sense humour and loves socializing. He enjoys, walks, shopping and having books read to him.
- His care worker will need to be fun and enthusiastic. They will need to be able to engage and entertain a non-verbal teenager and support him to socialize with others including his siblings. They need to be able to take him for walks in his wheelchair (battery powered motor pack available).
- We are seeking a care worker who is punctual, reliable and has a degree of flexibility. We are specifically looking for someone who is available 3.30-6.30 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays during term time and variably depending on need and availability during school holidays.
- His care worker must be able to give feed through a feeding tube or being willing to be trained to do this. It is describable thought not essential for them to be able to give medication via a feeding tube as well. They will need to be able to work independently proving all cares, including personal cares as required.
