- ____________________**VTS Training Delivery Lead**
**Purpose of the Role**

Operate as part of the Voyager Training Service(VTS) team, to manage the Annual Training Plan and day to day training delivery at the Voyager Academy working in partnership with Thales UK and Babcock International to deliver a fully safe, legal, and compliant training service to the Voyager Community

**Responsibilities**:
Working for the VTS Operations Manager, accountable for:

- Delivery of Training at the Voyager Academy
- Management and oversight of training budget
- Managing the design, build and delivery of the Annual Training Plan

Key activities include:

- On an annual basis, working in conjunction with Thales UK Ltd (TUKL) and the MoD, manage the planning, building, scheduling & delivery of the Annual Training Plan
- Liaising with Training Managers, Coordinators & Administrators to oversee the planning & delivery of training for AirTanker (ATr) & RAF Personnel including assigning new starters to role related training pipelines
- Working with key stakeholders, react to training requests raised in addition to the planned ATP
- Manage the booking of all external training requests (not captured by the ATP) issue joining instructions and collate feedback
- Manage & issue VTS course identification codes & course catalogue pages
- Chair monthly meetings with the Training Managers & TUKL to review the forward training plan to identify & resolve any issues
- Support the monthly tri-party Training Governance Meeting by attending to assist with resolution of any queries relating to training delivery activities
- Resolve queries from the ATr Commercial Business Partner in relation to training delivery
- Manage First Aid, Fire Marshal and Health & Safety training requirements, including expiries, for the whole business
- Liaising with RAF Brize Norton Reservist Squadron, book Sponsored Reservist courses as required
- Compile Human Factors training statistics and report to Voyager Force on a monthly basis
- Provide monthly KPI Data (in relation to training delivery) to the Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Training Business Stream
- Working with the Head of VTS & Finance Business Partner, map & coordinate the Technical Training Budget
- Operate as the VTS SharePoint Champion, managing and overseeing the content for VTS pages, and liaising with SharePoint Administrator in relation to permissions
- Providing administrative support to Training Managers in relation to the Training Records System (EFOS)
- When required, support the Business Intelligence Analyst at the Monthly Billing & Utilisation Review Panel
- Ownership of and maintenance of VTS procedures (Management of Training for the Voyager Force) relating to training delivery
- Assist the Technical Training Manager in the absence of the VTS Technical Training Administrator
- Support the HoVTS and VTS Operations Manager with any other duties that may be required

Essential job holder qualifications & experience at recruitment
- Established background in administration with accuracy, attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience of planning, scheduling and delivery to a plan/programme
- Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Pragmatic problem solver
- Adept in the use of IT, including but not restricted to Microsoft Office
- Experience of chairing meetings
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Experience of communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, at all levels

Desirable job holder qualifications & experience at recruitment
- Previous experience of operating in an airline training environment
- Knowledge of a Training Management Information System
- Awareness of regulatory, quality & compliance requirements for:

- Pilots
- Cabin Crew
- Engineers
- Logistics Personnel
- Ground Operations Personnel
- Flight Operations Personnel
- Support Staff
