We are looking for a Housekeeper at Fernbank Lodge to help create a warm and homely environment, keeping the home clean and safe which is why the role of Housekeeper is so important. The variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks you carry out will ensure everyone can enjoy a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment. This means you will have a direct impact on our residents, visitors, and staff.

You will need a caring nature, personable approach, and good practical skill. You should be reliable and have attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:
To undertake duties of a domestic nature ensuring the home and laundry are always cleaned to a high standard and all residents clothing is clean, ironed and appropriately labelled.

To assist in monitoring stock levels of cleaning materials and toiletries and maintaining use of fluids etc are within the COSSH requirements.

To ensure that all parts of the Home are cleaned as directed and in accordance with laid down cleaning procedures to minimize any risk of cross infection or deterioration of hygienic situations. To ensure cleaning records are maintained in accord with the requirements of the company ISO certification.

To ensure the home is a safe environment in which residents and staff can live and work in accord with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission and legislation as defined under the Health and Safety Act.

Hours of work: 8 - 2 on a Rota (includes some weekends)
