**We are seeking a Care Assistants to join our team in Belhaven House Care Home. Full/Part Time - Days & Nights available.**

Your main goal as a Care Assistant within one of our Homes is to enhance the lives of residents who live there. You will ensure the highest quality, person-centred care is delivered to our residents whilst maintaining their dignity and respecting their right to choice and independence. You will be assisting residents with personal care, helping at mealtimes, getting involved in resident activities and outings and just being a friendly face and someone to talk to over a cup of tea.

You will work under the direct supervision of the Senior carers and Home Manager who will guide and mentor you through your induction period.

To be successful in this role you will be a caring individual, have the ability to multitask with excellent communication skills. You will be able to direct and supervise care staff and delegate effectively. You will have experience as a care assistant within a care home setting caring for older people.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Care home: 1 year (preferred)
- Home care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
