Care Giver

Some of our fantastic team had no formal care experience before joining us, and some say Caregiving isn't like an everyday job - it's rewarding, and they feel like a valued professional. Whether or not you have experience of caring, you will have excellent training, you will 'shadow' experienced Caregivers and you will be introduced to your regular clients. Visits are not rushed, and are a minimum of one hour. Our regulator wrote this about Right at Home Ipswich: "_People were at the very heart of the service... The philosophy and values were shared across the team...One staff member said, "The training is superb."_ We currently require caring individuals with morning availability plus some availability every other weekend / some evenings. Some of our team work every weekend by choice, or evenings only, or a combination. It's up to you. Read on for the options We primarily support older clients with companionship, personal care, meal preparation, shopping trips, appointments, medication etc. We are a non-medical service. **The hourly salary is £15.00 per hour minimum. Bank holidays are paid at premium rate. In addition, we pay mileage between clients. By negotiation, you would be expected to support clients in Ipswich and Kesgrave.** Formal care experience is not required as we offer comprehensive training at our Ipswich office. We also provide ongoing support to ensure that you are confident in the role.
