Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. **Role Responsibilities**

Reporting to the HR Manager your responsibilities include:

- Provide concise advice to managers on discipline, grievance, performance and change management.
- Provide a professional and proactive approach to ensure our client takes the necessary steps to meet current and future employment legislation requirements.
- Assist with all recruitment and inductions where required.
- Supporting the management team with sickness/absence processes.
- Ensure employee records are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Be familiar with, and adhere to, company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with Payroll regarding employee information and changes.

The successful HR Advisor will be positive, pragmatic, have a can do, problem-solving attitude, with a passion and purpose for delivering excellent HR support and guidance.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Ideally working towards or CIPD qualified.
- Minimum of 2 years working in a HR environment.
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and competing priorities
- Confident approach with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT skills are essential, with particular knowledge of Microsoft packages.
