- **We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Student Voice Coordinator at UCEN Manchester (Based at City Campus Manchester but across-site working may be required on occasion) on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.**
To work in partnership with the Head of Student Engagement, the student body and the Student Union
team, in supporting and guiding the development of the Student Union and various other student voice activity.
This includes leading on and supporting the HE Student representation cycle, including overseeing the Student Reps, the training package and general support of the role.
Working with the Director, and SU team to ensure that all Student Union activity is prudently and effectively carried out in accordance with the developing Constitution and relevant policies and procedures.
As a key facilitator between Students and Staff this role will effectively keep students up to date and in touch with the operations and development of there HE experience, leading on all student voice activities, from surveys, focus groups etc. With this fostering a strong sense of belonging for students on multi campuses through the use of innovation and technology as key engagement modes.
In order to do this, you will need:
- communication) to a minimum of honours degree level
- Experience of higher education and of HE student representation systems
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently across all levels of the organisation
- Ability to build key links with external stakeholders, specifically the NUS
