The purpose of the Finance Analyst role role is to provide support to the Senior FP&A Analyst and the rest of the FP&A team. This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work in the Bristol office twice a week

Our client is a growing business and are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to focus on the provision of robust financial analysis to support business initiatives and opportunities

**Description**

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for;
- Production of weekly Executive Board reporting pack
- Production of FP&A contributions to monthly management accounts reporting pack
- Support Senior Finance Analyst in ongoing development and improving analytical content of weekly and monthly Board reporting
- Creation/development of monthly payroll & expense reporting for cost centre owners
- Development of P&Ls for Commercial team
- Development of monthly reporting of capex actuals vs. budget/forecast
- Support production of forecasts & budgets, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow and related calculations and assumptions
- Ownership of capex budget/forecast
- Periodic review of actual performance versus budget/forecast to analyse variances and update assumptions in models where applicable
- Support Senior Finance Analyst in developing best practice models for all planning and forecasting activities and seek to continually improve processes and output
- Support Senior Finance Analyst with ad hoc forecasting and planning for key strategic and tactical initiatives
- Support the redefining of the capital investment approval process and associated reporting requirements
- Support the implementation of the new FP&A software tool
- Support Senior Finance Analyst in developing better insight and reporting into stock management
- Support commercial analysis on projects and provide ad hoc analysis as required
