Our very well known and prestigious client, who are a global leader in location based family entertainment, have an exciting vacancy for a Demi Chef De Partie
As a Demi Chef De Partie you will assist the Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef and Sous Chef in the daily organisation of the kitchen and to achieve the required standard of food preperation and presentation to meet quality standards and customer satisfaction
As a Demi Chef De Partie your responsibilities will include:
To maintain standard of presentation (laid down in the Kitchen Standard Operating Procedure) on the buffet display within the Restaurant
Replace Mise En Plas for next service or next day
To maintain high standard of fire, hygiene and safety as laid down by the companies and local environmental health
To ensure the correct preparation, cooking and presentation of all food in the section as per recipes and standard operating procedures and to be fully conversant with all menu items available
To ensure opening and closing procedures and cleaning schedules are implemented as per the kitchen standards of performance manual
To have a full knowledge of and be able to act upon the fire procedures as laid down in the hotel fire manual with compliance to the fire precautions act 1971 and to attend fire training as requested
To be fully conversant and be able to implement the required standards of hygiene and safety as outlined in the hotel and companies policies and to comply with H&S training as requested
Check Mise En Plas for selection & general hygiene within the kitchen areas
To ensure cleaning schedule is achieved and immediate equipment is maintained on your selection before leaving shift
Report to Senior Sous Chef or Head Chef for debrief before departing
To assist with training and development of junior members of the kitchen team alongside the Senior Sous Chef, Sous Chef and Head Chef
Distribute work evenly amongst the team
Supervise as well as assist in production of food in your section
To follow instructions at all times from senior members of the hotel team and delegate accordingly
