You will have the opportunity to use the following skills:
- Technical knowledge: You will be managing project delivery in one or more of the following areas: Net Zero strategy, Carbon Management and Climate Resilience (including TCFD).
- Project management: You will have a management role, ensuring appropriate resource allocation across multiple projects.
- People leadership: You will coach and develop a team with four to six direct reports, as well as mentoring opportunities.
- A growth mindset: You will manage the development of client proposals, identifying and winning new opportunities and prospects. The Associate Director position will play a key and influential role within our UK team with a focus on nurturing and growing our services.
- Strategic direction: You will provide strategic direction for our E&CC services, with a focus on business and client development, as well as developing and managing a growing specialist team. You will contribute to developing Corporate Citizenship’s European E&CC growth strategy, working closely with the regional management team.
- Client management: You will develop key client relationships as well as have overall responsibility for client projects you are managing.
- Insight and Innovation: You will support and oversee continued development of our climate strategy service offering and growth strategy. While supporting the development of our know-how, tools, methodologies and thought leadership.

**About you**:
- A proven track record of working with corporate sector clients on climate-related issues. We are open to in-house, consulting or NGO experience.
- Specific expertise in one or more of the following services is required: Net Zero, Carbon Management, Climate Resilience (including TCFD).
- Experience managing teams and / or delivering projects relating to climate strategy.
- Strong analytical capability with experience working and manipulating environmental and / or financial impact data.
- A strong entrepreneurial drive to identify and develop growth opportunities for Corporate Citizenship and SLR in a context of some well-established operational support.
- A strong track record of winning new business, or relevant transferable skills e.g. prospecting, pitching, scoping, negotiating, contracting.
- Excellent team management skills nurturing and developing people in a project-based, hybrid/remote and matrix organisation.
