Trainee Timber Frame Designer

**Trainee Timber Frame Designer.**

This role is best suited to someone with either a background in construction, looking for an office-based position, or someone with previous training using CAD software. Your role would involve learning from and assisting our team of experienced Timber frame designers.

**Role Duties**:

- Design accurate Timber frame with the assistance of the team.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand the project requirements.
- Assist the sales team to create accurate and efficient estimates & quotations.
- Produce material schedules and manufacturing drawings for the factory.
- Produce detailed drawings and documents for site construction.
- General office admin.

**Experience**:

- No direct experience as a Timber Frame Designer is necessary.
- Experience with either AutoCAD or similar software or experience reading technical construction drawings desired.
- Strong communication & collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 17:00pm.
