We are currently looking to hire compassionate and dedicated individuals to support the Home Manager in providing exceptional, person-centred care to the residents of the Home, ensuring a warm, happy and homely environment is maintained at all times and supporting each of the residents to remain as active and independent as possible within the constraints of their condition.

**As a Cook at our home, your role may involve**:

- Delivering the highest possible culinary standards to residents by providing nutritious, well-balanced and appetising meals from a clean, safe and hygienic environment
- Supporting with controlling the catering budget
- Submitting food orders
- Managing/supporting with all the day to day aspects of the catering operation
- Compliance with quality and safety standards
- This role sits below the 2nd Chef and Head Chef

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
- A passion for producing fresh, home cooked food, from scratch to the highest standards.
- Recipe costing skills and food budgeting experience.
- Friendly and enthusiastic disposition, ability to integrate well with others.
- Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads.
- Food Hygiene Level 2, or willing to undertake
