Retirement Living Advisor

BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for an independent living advisor to be working across Cheltenham, Gloucester and Bristol to work at sheltered housing complex for older adults.
This is a full time opportunity Mon
- Fri 9-5. The role is temporary ongoing in the first instance but could become permanent at a later date.
Pay £13.32 per hour PAYE plus holiday pay or £16.68 Umbrella per hour
You will have previous experience working as a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager or have worked in Social Housing/Supported Living.
The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents, who live independently within the Scheme, and you will be responsible for assessing resident’s daily needs, completing support plans and sign posting information, whilst liaising with in-house support workers on a daily basis to ensure a continued smooth service.
You will also report repairs and complete Health and Safety Checks and be in charge of the running of the Scheme as a whole and will need to deliver a constant high service at all times.
Managing voids and lettings, ensuring the scheme is maintained and being responsible for resident engagement and involvement.
Experience in a similar role is essential. There will also be some travel on occasion to Bristol and Cheltenham so transport will be required.
**Salary**: £11.88-£14.63 per hour
