Hands On Warehouse

**You will oversea the two departments and be responsible for a head count of 20 staff.**

- **What the job involves**:

- Manage the team.
- All processes and systems, communicating company productivity targets and setting motivational targets for your team.
- Maintain administration and automated storage retrieval systems.
- You will need to ensure that workplace health and safety requirements in line with accreditations that are held.
- You will support the Head of Operations to develop, deliver and drive forward a sustainable and ambitious growth strategy.
- Provide exceptional leadership of the warehouse and driver teams in line with company values to lead their team.
- Recruiting and training of staff
- Motivating, organizing set productivity targets are met.
- Managing maintenance of and implementation of any legal training requirements also keeping the training records of the staff you are responsible for up to date.
- Submit reporting on the department including KPI numbers.
- Hold weekly talks with warehouse and driving staff, to address non conformances, update, share KPI’s ,train and plan with Team.
- Submit Timely Reporting on your Department in line with KPI
- Investigate, solve and report any stock discrepancies, losses or gains.
- Producing and summarizing the stock adjustment report. Including cost analysis.
- Maintain stock accuracy by performing continuous cycle counts, ensuring two full counts per year.
- Managing the accurate timely booking in of all receiving deliveries. Including labeling locating all stock in the Warehouse and recording this in Orderwise.
- Responding to and dealing with supplier communication
- Ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse maintaining a 24 hour delivery on all stock items.
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the warehouse environment.
- Overseeing and ensuring all Deliveries are checked before leaving the premises and that efficient route planning is in place for all deliveries
- Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment within the warehouse
- Overseeing waste disposal from the site, and controlling the waste budget
