**Role Purpose**
We are looking for an organised and supporter-focused individual to join our Supporter Care and Resource Centre at an exciting time of growth for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK following the global pandemic.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Proactively supporting fundraisers and sponsored event participants to promote Ronald McDonald House Charities UK and maximise current and future fundraising opportunities
- Maintain relationships with fundraisers to enhance their experience with Ronald McDonald House Charities UK and to promote future fundraising support, enhancing the supporter’s journey
- Entering new supporters, all enquiries, communications and supporter information accordingly into the Charity CRM Database (Harlequin)
- Run reports for donations received via our website and independently, allocate to relevant teams and thank donations based on agreed levels
- To reconcile regular donations on the CRM Database and to process any amendments to regular donations including renewals, cancellations and upgrades, update supporter records (e.g. address changes, mailing preferences) and create new supporter records as necessary
- Support the management of fundraising from platforms such as JustGiving and Facebook Fundraising. Collate and run reports to ensure all new supporters are captured and responded to in a timely fashion
- Manage fundraising materials and ensure fundraising stock is up to date; and supply to fundraisers where applicable
- Process Legacy, Community, Corporate and Individual Giving response requests and new campaigns as agreed within specified SLA’s
- Scan all Gift Aid forms once processed and other communication onto the CRM ensuring the relevant document goes on to the correct record
- Manage travel booking for the Income Generation Team
- Undertake general administration for the department
- To work effectively focusing on team objectives and assisting other team members during periods of peak activity
- Ensure all data is handled in line with GDPR and Fundraising regulations.
- Support with other reasonable tasks or responsibilities under the direction of the line manager
**Knowledge and Experience**
- Experience of working in an administrative or customer care environment
- Good working knowledge and experience of using standard IT equipment and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of high-quality data entry and attention to detail
- Evidence of provision of high-level administrative support to an organisation
- Strong team player with exceptional inter-personal skills and able to engage with a range of stakeholders
- Knowledge of Data Protection Legislation, GDPR and fundraising regulations (desirable)
- Experience of working with a public fundraising charity, ideally with a health and or children focus (desirable)
**Skills and Abilities**
- Effective verbal and written skills, with a fluent writing style, good knowledge and practical use of the English language
- Excellent verbal communication and phone manner and confident in communicating with a wide range of people at all levels
- Excellent time management and organisational skills including a high degree of personal initiative and responsibility, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work to deadlines
- High level of reliability and professionalism in approach to work
- Ability to work on own, and as part of a team, with minimum supervision
- Close attention to detail, a very high level of accuracy
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Able to act with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality and deal with sensitive issues
- Ability and experience of using databases or similar systems (desirable)
- Willingness to work variable hours including some evening and weekends when needed to fulfil commitments (desirable)

Since 1989 the Charity has been supporting families with children in hospital. This is an exciting time to join the Charity, as we move into 33 years of providing accommodation and support for families at such a traumatic time in their lives.
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free “home away from home” accommodation for the families of sick children who are being treated in hospital. Our support helps ease financial worry, reduces the stresses of travel, keeps families together and ensures family stability is maintained during a very difficult time. It makes a very positive, real and tangible difference to the families of sick children across the UK.
