We are looking for a Room Leader to join our Fledgelings team and provide the best learning opportunities for the children in our care.

The ideal person would have strong communication skills, excellent knowledge of the EYFS, have experience of leading a team, be fun loving and have outstanding childcare practices. The qualification required is a level 3 in childcare with nursery experience.

Fledgelings offer a full induction with continuous support with training and staff well-being.

**Room Leader**
To work as part of the team providing high quality care, safety and stimulating play experiences to all individual children and their needs.

To implement the daily routine in the base room.

To support all other members of the team and work alongside the Manager

**Key Areas**
- Demonstrate authority and leadership skills.
- Lead and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage. Observe, support and extend children’s learning.
- Manage and promote positive team work with other staff in conjunction with the manager.
- Liaise with parents/carers promoting partnership and involvement
- Meet the requirements of EYFS matters, special needs, child protection, health and safety and to ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to by staff.

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
