Sales & Accounts Clerk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and numerate individual who can work in an organised and professional manner within the Finance department reporting to the Accounts Manager. Working for the Levertech Group of companies which have been enjoying year on year success in the electrical, mechanical and construction market since establishment in 2000.

You will be based at our head office in Altrincham working within modern offices with free on-site parking.

Key responsibilities:

- Accurately invoice customer accounts in line with SLA and customer agreements.
- Understanding the rate/charging framework for each of the accounts you are responsible for.
- Working alongside Project Managers, to prepare and raise sales invoices in a timely manner.
- Manage client invoice portals ensuring all invoices raised are correctly uploaded and approved for payment.
- Assisting in other areas of the finance function as required including responsibility for reconciling all incoming supplier statements, company credit cards and ensuring aged credit are kept up to date and resolving any queries as they arise..
- Sales ledger experience preferably within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of CIS scheme and VAT reverse charge.
- Experience within other areas of the accounts function.
- Experience using Sage 50 packages is preferable.

Hours of work 8am
- 4pm Monday - Friday.

- Have a sense of pride in their work and themselves.
- Ability to converse on the telephone in a professional and courteous manner.
- Excellent numerical and written skills.

Training

Training will be provided on software including the Amtech Job Costing System.

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Invoicing: 1 year (required)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
