**Client Details**

Page Personnel excited to announce that we are working in partnership with a Manufacturing and production business in the heart of Liverpool which are looking to expand their finance team with this Management Accountant position. This is an excellent opportunityto join a thriving accountancy team offering great exposure & development opportunities.Our client is looking for someone to taken ownership of the accounts and really make them there own.

**Description**

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include, but are not limited to the following duties and tasks;
- Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register
- Meeting with department heads
- Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and re-forecast processes
- Monitoring cash flow
- Providing insights on the financial situation of the organisation
- Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues
- Full responsibility for the finance function with one finance assistant currently reporting in to this role
- A key member of the management team supporting the MD on all finance matters
- Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliation's

**Profile**

The successful Management Accountant will have:

- Knowledge in management accounts and budget / forecast preparation
- Ability to manage various stakeholder expectations and deliverable
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience
- Must be a 'Hands On' Finance Manager happy to get stuck in, would suit someone from an SME background
- Must have some experience of the manufacturing sector and standard costing
- Excellent attention to detail is key and the ability to work to set deadlines under pressure at busier times of the month
- Advanced Excel skills are essential with the desire to make system and process improvements where necessary
