Maple Biomass LTD is a prominent player in the arboriculture trade, specializing in tree care and the recycling of waste products to produce Kiln Dried Firewood and wood chips for powering the UK's power stations.

Job Summary:
As a Yard Worker at Maple Biomass LTD, you will play a crucial role in our operations by assisting with general yard duties and upkeep of the yard.

Requirements/ Duties:

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks to enhance the appearance of the yard
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate power tools effectively
- Assist in building and gardening projects within the yard
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized yard environment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to work
- Operate delivery van to transport biomass products efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading
- Perform a variety of duties around the yard
- Drive commercial vehicles adhering to safety regulations
- Collaborate with the warehouse team for seamless logistics
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Uphold good communication with the transport team
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Previous experience in operating diggers and tele handler is an advantage

Qualifications:

- Clean driving licence with no more than 6points
- Previous experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills essential for coordinating deliveries
- Willingness to engage in physical work and flexible hours

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
