The time has come for Kintra to look a new welcome a new receptionist into our team, in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire.

We are looking for a friendly and organised individual with previous veterinary receptionist or customer facing experience. Our veterinary clinic is a busy and fast-paced environment, and our receptionist is an essential part of our team.

We currently based in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire. Drivers license is not required, but preferred
- there is no direct public transport to our clinic.

Additionally, the receptionist will be responsible for managing the clinic's inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that the clinic is clean and organised. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, and the receptionist will be expected to work a flexible schedule.

**Duties include**:

- Answering and directing calls from clients
- Scheduling appointments for clients
- Checking patients in and out
- Checking clients out and collecting payments after their appointments are finished
- Maintaining the front desk area including patient paperwork, mailing labels, etc.
- Taking payments from clients and entering them into the system
- Maintaining cleanliness of reception area including mops, trash cans, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
- Performing other reception duties as needed or assigned by management

**Required Skills**:

- Previous recent experience in a veterinary receptionist position is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Customer service experience.
- The ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure.
- A passion for animals and commitment to their well-being.
- Demonstrate abilities to multi-task.
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently with mínimal supervision.
- IT literate, experience using MS Office packages including teams, word, outlook, etc.
- Previous animal related experience.
- Strong organisational skills including managing a busy schedule.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
