We are a family run housing company, based in North Kent, looking for an experienced multi trader to join our busy property maintenance team, carrying out reactive and planned repairs, maintenance and refurbishments on residential properties.

**Job responsibilities**:

- To receive instructions via our I-pad based internal job handling software and carry out repairs and maintenance to occupied and unoccupied properties using all multi-trade skills.
- To achieve and demonstrate a high level of customer satisfaction.
- To comply with our Health and Safety Procedures and legislation.
- To wear uniform and all personal protective equipment which will be provided.
- Make full use of the job handling system and provide accurate data regarding each job attended and completed.
- Working as part of a team as well as mentor to any junior or apprentice staff members.
- Ensuring a right first time approach.
- Excellent time keeping
- High focus on a clean working environment and the protection of customer property at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities in the business.
- Undertake continuous training and development.

**Job Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years proven experience in residential property maintenance.
- Good understanding at Multi-Trader level of: electrical, plumbing, heating, painting decorating, carpentry works, floor installations etc.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Good interpersonal (verbal and written) communication.
- High ethical standards, willingness to learn and innovate, and exhibit mature judgement.
- Proven track record of producing high quality work with highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Full clean driving licence

**Additional pay**:

**Salary**: £30,000.00 per year
