A leading globally established software development client, are looking for a technically strong, experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to join their well-established DevOps team. This role will report into the Vice President and is the most senior rolein the DevOps team.

The Role

Exceptional knowledge of development practices in a DevOps culture

The most senior position within the DevOps function and therefore will be responsible for stakeholder management, key decision making, implementation and requires strong technical abilities

The most senior position within the DevOps team and will be required to build the platform and have strong input when changes/decisions need to be made

Having exceptional experience with Azure, Terraform, CI/CD pipeline building, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes

Willing to do what it takes to meet deadlines and expectations

Problem-solving abilities, not afraid of a technical focused challenge

Delivering outcomes to high technical standards

Having an entrepreneurial outlook is essential in this role

**Skills**:
Years' of commercial experience with Azure DevOps, having lead and mentored a team

Having worked as a lead or principal DevOps engineer prior is essential as this role is technically challenging

Comes from a strong Azure DevOps background

Strong knowledge and experience with Terraform

Hands on experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

Years of strong hands-on experience with Docker containerisation and Kubernetes orchestration tools

C# & Powershell scripting, with knowledge of Python a plus

Education

A 2:1 in Computer Science or related degree.
