Search are proud to be working with a fast growing company on the recruitment of a CNC Operator to join their manufacturing site based in Blaydon. This role is a permanent opportunity with great career progression opportunities. Your primary responsibilityis to set and operate a CNC machine. This is a permanent opportunity, Monday to Friday day shift. **Responsibilities** - Read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances. - Following basic engineering drawings and plans - CNC operation on a AXYZ 6014 4m x 2m router - Working on the a range of materials from Aluminium - MDF - Making adjustments to the machine settings where required - Previous experience with setting machinery would be essential - Program at machine when required.? **Experience** - Working on the a range of materials from Aluminium - MDF - Programming and setting machines - Must be happy to undertake a "hands on / physical" role - Team player - Able to undertake heavy lifting - Previous production experience - Enthusiastic, ''can do'' attitude - Able to work on own initiative - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Able to work to deadlines.
