The Headteacher and Governors of St Mary’s RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Teaching Assistant to work alongside our hardworking, dedicated team in either our Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 provision. The hours during the week can be in negotiation with the Headteacher

St Mary’s Langho is a happy thriving school set within the beautiful area of Langho and the Ribble Valley. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to cover a maternity leave, commencing on the 1st September 2025 until the 17th July 2026 or the return of the postholder.

You will assist in the delivery, evaluation and adaptation of the curriculum. Under the general supervision and direction of the teacher you will:

- Implement learning activities for individuals and groups
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
- Establish supportive and constructive relationships with pupils
- The role will include daily lunchtime supervision of pupils, first aid, gate and playground duties

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification -appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
