**Heritage Automotive - Car Sales Driver Yeovil**

**Salary £22230 per annum**

Due to promotion we are looking to replace our Sales Driver at Yeovil Volkswagen/Skoda. This is a great opportunity to work in a warm and welcoming environment, and develop within the business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collect and deliver new and used cars between Heritage sites
- Deliver new and used cars to customers carrying out a professional handover and relevant paperwork, this may require the occasional overnight stop
- Plan driving routes using SatNav, google maps etc
- Plan and book journeys using public transport such as trains, taxis and busses
- Organise on site car movements
- Take and upload used vehicle marketing photographs in line with manufactures guidelines
- Provide holiday cover for the service driver
- Drive in a safe and courteous manner within the law, at all times ensuring that the Driver Behaviour guidelines are followed
- Check new and used vehicle in as they are delivered to the retailer
- Assist the sales team with their duties

- Provide the highest levels of customer service by providing a knowledgeable, courteous, responsive and efficient van delivery service
- Work with all departments to provide a consistent excellent customer service experience
- Always act in a courteous and professional manner
- Report any customer complaints to the Sales Manager
- Check that all car delivered are free of damage

**Systems and Processes**
- Ensure compliance with business standards and processes, financial, legal and ethical guidelines
- Handle all cash, cheque and credit card payments securely and in line with the cash handling policy
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately to a manager (Service/Sales manager or Head of Business)
- Economise on fuel costs where possible by finding the cheapest fuel price options available.
- Ensure personal protective equipment are correctly used and stored

**To be successful you will**:

- Hold a full clean driving licence.
- Excellent customer handling skills
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of the local area
