**We have fantastic opportunities for Senior Healthcare Assistants in the Amesbury, Salisbury and Romsey areas.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Completing Care Plans;
- Helping junior carers;
- Assisting with assessments of clients and staff;
- Assisting with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet;
- Utilising equipment to move patients when necessary;
- Helping tidy the patient’s home or room;
- Talking to patients and reassuring them;
- Attending meetings with other healthcare professionals;
- Assisting other staff when needed;
- Adhering to professional standards; and
- Recording daily notes, medications and other risk based observations on Oneplan software (training will be given);
- Reporting to the Management any important changes in the patient’s condition.
You should be naturally caring, reliable, hardworking, patient and flexible. The following skills are desirable:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations;
- Good physical fitness and stamina to lift and move patients and equipment;
- Ability to follow instructions and keen observation sills;
- Ability to multitask and time management skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Good organizational skills.

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are required to wear PPE which will be issued to individuals by the company, weekly COVID-19 testing of employees is necessary to safeguard the person themselves and the customers they are supporting.

- Home care: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
