Wharehouse Operative

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage inventory using a warehouse management system to track stock levels and locations.
- Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of products.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to build and assemble products as needed.
- Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in operating forklifts is essential for this role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
- Strong skills in materials handling, including loading and unloading procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge to assist with basic maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From £12.50 per hour
