Eastern Concrete Ltd is very excited to be recruiting an organised and dedicated Apprentice to join our Finance team. If you are looking to start out in your career in Finance, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Eastern Concrete Ltd has experienced substantial growth over the last several years. This has created an opportunity to grow our finance team further with an apprentice role. During your apprenticeship at Eastern Concrete, you will gain hands on experience with the clear Study support and career path within Finance Department, gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting functions whilst staying close to the business fundamentals. This will give you a real advantage in your studies as you progress through the different levels of accounting qualifications.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Desire and willingness to undergo AAT qualification
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs including Mathematics & English
- Attention to detail and good organisation skills
- Motivated, efficient, and organised
- Good telephone manner
- Ability to communicate at all levels

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Daily processing of cashbook transactions into Xero
- Accurate allocation of payments and receipts
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Scanning and distribution of post
- Invoicing customers
- Support with the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger activities
- Assisting with a variety of queries and resolving ledger discrepancies
- General accounts duties
- Ad hoc duties as directed by the FC
