Job title: Senior Practitioner Location: Derby **Salary**: £25438 Hours: 37.5 hours per week The Client: In collaboration with, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health and addictions, I am seeking a skilled, compassionate and recovery focusedsenior practitioner to join their Derby service. The job: Your new role as Senior Practitioner, requires you to undertake a portfolio of cases, generally incorporating the more complex situations, and deputise for Service Managers as and when required. Supervising the work of Practitioners and Support Workers willbe important too, as will prioritising activities and monitoring service delivery, outputs and outcomes and providing guidance, training, and supervision. You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of the functional model of alcohol, the model of change and CBT. You will manage staff within the Family Drug and Alcohol Safeguarding team who support parents around parental substances, and adults and youngpeople affected by parental substance misuse. Skills and Experience: " You will have experience in disseminating and communicating appropriate substance misuse information to professionals and sharing best practice. " You should have experience working within child safeguarding due to the specialist nature of the service and you should also have experience of partnership working as well as the ability to maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internaland external stakeholders from a wide range of services and disciplines.
