HR Advisor

As the HR Advisor your duties will include
- Provide guidance, support and coaching to line managers in the interpretation and operation of HR policies, procedures in order to promote best practice.
- Provide advice and support on employee relations issues.
- Support headcount management issues, including downsizing, restructuring, manpower and succession planning activities.
- Support and participate in the management of absence and other employee issues, including counselling and general administration.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, in line with cultural and legislative changes.
- Support management in all HR related activities, including the management of long-term sickness, absence, counselling, disciplinary and grievance matters. Including telephone support during the adjournment of first and second warnings and sitting in ongrievance hearings.
- Co-ordinate the company's onboarding process for both employed and self-employed associates.
- Update and maintain the data held on the HR information Systems (Tensor and KV).
- Manage the maintenance of the employee handbook and on-boarding literature.
- Production of all correspondence in respect of new starters, leavers, contract changes, hearing sanctions, formal warnings, absence, redundancies and on-boarding.
- Conduct home visits to long term absentees.
