**Location**: Farnham
- This is an exciting opportunity for ambitious individual to join a family run business with over 30 years in the construction industry. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, the plant fitter will be responsible for maintaining the cranes, lifting equipment and fleet on site and off site assisting the maintenance department.

Main job aspect for the successful applicant will be taking ownership of all cranes and lifting related activities including planned preventative and reactive (breakdown) repairs on/off site cranes and lifting equipment, routine inspections, maintenance, schedules, records and compliance.

You will provide feedback for improvements, communicate necessary and relevant information to management, maintenance and operational personnel whilst developing good working relationships with colleagues and contractors.

Ensure all tasks are completed and meet Health and Safety guidelines and are maintained to the highest standard leading by example in all aspects of the role.

**Our ideal applicant will have/be.**
- Experience of maintaining mobile cranes, HGVs, or plant machinery with a high level of health & safety.
- Experience of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components is highly
- Previous experience in a manufacturing / maintenance
- Will be able to work under pressure and have strong oral and written communication skills, as the role requires the ability to communicate with management, staff, subcontractors, and clients at all levels.
- Manage time and information effectively, ability to prioritise tasks
- Self-Driven, will be able to work unsupervised, high level of motivation and enthusiasm to deliver at the highest level
- Flexible approach to working hours as this role will demand call outs for breakdowns
