**Who we are**:
Muslim Aid is a UK faith-based international development organisation that provides support to communities around the world affected by disasters, conflict, or endemic poverty without regard to their social, religious, or ethnic background.

Established in 1985, Muslim Aid has facilitated the engagement of the British Muslim and non-Muslim community in support of its work in a variety of ways. Over the years, its humanitarian work has included responses to major crises around the world including, famine in East Africa, earthquakes and flooding in Pakistan and Bangladesh as well as conflicts in Syria and Yemen.

We place strong emphasis on long-term development projects that build the capacity of local people helping themselves. In addition to the 5 country offices worldwide we also work with multiple partner offices focusing on sustainable Development Programmes and providing humanitarian relief during times of crisis.

**Summary of Role**

**This is a Causal Contract for 3 months.**

This role involves handling media assets related to Muslim Aid’s global humanitarian efforts, covering areas such as Emergencies, Livelihoods, Education, Health, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. You will be responsible for uploading, tagging, and filing media assets including images, videos, and case studies onto Muslim Aid’s Media Archiving platform, Digital Space. You will play a crucial part of the role ensuring that these media assets are easily accessible to all relevant stakeholders and are stored centrally in a safe and compliant manner.

**About the Role**

The main responsibilities of this role will be to:

- To identify suitable media assets for the creation of key campaign marketing materials.
- To upload selected media assets onto Digital Space.
- To tag media assets with key metadata such as country, theme, keywords etc.
- To assist the Campaigns Coordinator with regular review of media archiving system and identify ways for improvement.
- To ensure that all data entered onto Digital Space is on-time, accurate and consistent.
