Experienced Estate Agent Who Wants a Mon-fri

**The Role**

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Estate Agent to join our dynamic and passionate team as a Property Expert in a Mon-Fri, office based role. This role is integral to ensure we purchase the right properties for our customers and the company by using every online tool at your disposal to find properties for our customers and carry out all necessary due diligence checks both before and after the customer views. You will also use your fantastic relationship and rapport building skills to negotiate the purchase of properties at the right price.

To join us, you don't need to be a current Estate Agent but you will need a property related background or experience. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organisational and time-management skills. You will have an efficient, professional, solution focussed approach. Just as important is an approachable and helpful nature.

This role is a full-time permanent role which is based in our office in Worthing, West Sussex. Salary is £23,000 to £25,000 per annum depending on experience.

**In this role you will**:

- Build rapport and work with Estate Agents to find the right property for our customers and the business
- Carry out all due diligence for properties to ensure all information is available to determine if the property fits both the customer’s needs and the company’s requirements
- Liaise with our partner Estate Agents and other key stakeholders
- Negotiate the purchase of property, speaking directly with Estate Agents to secure the property at the right price
- Keep your property knowledge fully up to date using internal and external resources available to you
- Understand and calculate investment yields
- Prepare property details
- Keep up to date records, using systems and spreadsheets available to you
- Ad-hoc property related administration as directed

**Experience and Qualifications**

**The Property Expert will have (essential)**:

- Experience dealing with property or an interest in property
- Dealing with customer care issues or complaint resolution

**The Property Expert will ideally have (not essential)**:

- Experience of working in or with Estate Agents
- Experience negotiating on property sales
- Building and documenting process'
- Property due diligence experience
- Experience of using excel spreadsheets
