**Positions**: Qualified/Trainee Dental Nurse & Qualified Dental Hygienist/Therapist

**Location**: Inverleith, Edinburgh

**Hours**: 1 x part-time nurse, 1 x part-time hygienist/therapist

Flexible within the hours mentioned below:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8.15am - 5.15pm.
Tuesday: 8.15am - 6.30pm & Friday: 8.15am - 1pm.
With option to extend Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

**Salary**:Qualified Nurse** - £13/hr based on experience; **Hygienist/Therapist** - competitive, based on experience.

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated & enthusiastic Dental Nurse & a Hygienist/Therapist to join our dynamic team. The Dental Nurse role combines clinical assisting tasks, with reception responsibilities, ensuring the smooth operation of our practice & the delivery of outstanding patient care. You must live within a reliable commuting distance of the practice or relocate before starting the position.

**Dental Nurse Clinical Duties**:

- Assist clinicians (dentist & hygienist/therapist) during dental procedures.
- Prepare & maintain dental instruments, materials & equipment.
- Provide high-quality patient care & support.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety protocols.
- Perform administrative tasks related to patient records & scheduling.
- Handle patient enquiries & manage appointments.
- Strong organisational & multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations in a dental setting.
- Professional & presentable, always maintaining GDC standards.

**Dental Nurse Qualification & Skills**:

- Proficient in English, both written & verbal.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records & using dental software systems.
- Some reception skills are required.
