- Sunday on a shift basis**
**8.00am-8.00pm**
**JOB PURPOSE**
To deliver high quality personal care to our residents in line with the company’s policies and procedures and to monitor and support the care team with leadership and guidance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to the residents in line with the company policies
- Assessing residents' needs and wishes and providing person-centred care
- Maintaining residents’ independence and offering choices in all areas of the residents’ lives
- Record all care delivered
Supervise allocated care staff
- Provide feedback to the nursing team of any changes to the care of the residents
- Administer and manage medication to residents’ as per the company’s policy
- Liaise professionally with visitors and other external partner agencies
- Take all reasonable care to protect residents of any harm
- Report any concerns/accidents/adverse incidents to the Home Manager
- Be presentable at all times
**REQUIREMENTS**
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of education as a minimum
- A minimum of 12 months experience within Care of the Elderly
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Full Flexibility
- Good listener
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
- **Covid-19 vaccine**
