Bid Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid Manager to join a market leading provider of commercial laundry, hygiene and washroom solutions.
You will play a key part in the creation of high-quality proposals, and the management and delivery of winning tenders for clients across a wide variety of sectors including public sector, engineering and manufacturing, hospitality and catering, food production,healthcare and retail.
This role would suit a Marketing person who has been involved in writing in the past, who possesses creative flair and ambition
**As a Bid Manager, your responsibilities will include**:

- Preparing responses to requests for quotes and invitation to tender enquiries
- Ensuring professional and compelling responses are created and delivered to the customer
- Leading the end-to-end process, including market research and post-bid analysis
- Producing bespoke bids, mirroring language and terminology of the customer’s culture and values
- Pro-actively engaging with internal stakeholders, sales and commercial teams to develop strategies, and to prepare winning answers to customer questions
- Continuously improving the central library, housing creative sales collateral for all outbound proposals and tenders

**We are looking for a Bid Manager who has the following skills and experiences**:

- Previous experience as a Bid Writer or Manager, or having previously worked on bids in a wider marketing capacity
- Demonstrable experience in the development of compelling sales collateral and proposal/tender documents is essential
- Creative thinking, innovative and proactive, comes up with fresh ideas
- Confident in data analysis and a strong eye for detail
- Able to produce high volume responses, under time pressures and tight deadlines
- Expert level knowledge of MS Office and Adobe, excellent communication skills

This is an office-based position, located in West Bromwich.
