Horticultural Worker

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with planting, maintaining, and caring for a variety of plants, including Alpines, Herbaceous Perennials, Ferns, Phormiums, Ornamental Grasses, and seasonal Patio Plants.
- Label plants accurately in preparation for dispatch to ensure proper identification and organization.
- Load trolleys with plants for delivery or movement within the nursery.
- Pot plants and ensure they are properly cared for in their containers.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe to maintain a productive and efficient environment.
- Support general nursery tasks as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

- **Attention to Detail**: Ensure plants are labeled, potted, and cared for accurately to maintain quality.
- **Following Instructions**: Able to follow specific guidelines and procedures to complete tasks effectively.
- **Efficiency**: Work quickly while maintaining high standards to meet deadlines.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborate with colleagues to complete tasks smoothly.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
